Secure the Doors
There are a lot of burglars that just open the front door and walk right in. Having alarms in place is a must to secure your home. Security alarms are often on the outside of the home, but you can get room specific alarms, as well as door alarms and security cameras. Light Up
Another thing to think about, especially if you are looking at rewiring, is to make sure that your home is well lit. Motion activated lights are one of the best options, and they can be a good idea for you walking up to your home as well.
